Setting near the centre of Porto Seguro, this colourful establishment is just a 10-minute walk from the Praia de Taperaupã Beach. Being the first region discovered by the Portuguese settlers in the current Brazilian territory it is a place with significant touristic and historical importance. It includes three churches and around 40 buildings which had been designated as national monuments for the 500th anniversary celebration of Brazilian discovery. The downtown area is also a great place for evening walks due to the special lighting system.
