The Casa del Mango Hotel is the only ecolodge hotel in Cartagena. It is located in the neighborhood of GetsemanÃ, opposite the walled city center of Cartagena de Indias.
The hotel is located in a tropical garden, which is carefully decorated with mango trees and tropical flowers. In the garden there is also a large pool, which can be seen from the private balconies. The hotel was built using local materials such as exposed brick walls and huge wood beams. The rustic style of this hotel is combined with colonial details that make the guests feel like if they were in another world and time. The nine rooms of Casa de Mango feature huge comfortable beds made with dark wood and covered with very comfortable mattresses. Some rooms also have a sitting area with a balcony or terrace. The rooms have internet access, sat-TV, room service and a ceiling fan. Almost all rooms have air conditioning. The hotel also offers shuttle service, car and bike hire, laundry service and 24-hour security.
