This is a superb hotel with very good service and a fantastic location to explore the castle palace and the historical old town of Schwerin.
This hotel is highly recommended.
The rooms are medium in size and decorated in classical warming style. The pictures and the curtains show motives of the historical period from the times of the explorer and navigators. The bathrooms are medium in size and clean, both are in very good condition.
The restaurant and breakfast room offer local and international cuisine and the standard of the food is very good. The seafood is highly recommended for the area.
The lobby is large in size and also decorated in the tradition of explorer, with dark marble floor with Compass pattern and stars. The furniture is bright wood and on the left side following a seating area is the entrance of the restaurant "Marco Polo".

The Hotel is situated in a wonderful position directly on the banks of the Ostorfer lake just a few minutes walk away from the castle palace and the historical old town of Schwerin.
