This is an excellent hotel for enjoying the activities of the area and gives you a taste of the traditional in the Black Forest.

Rooms are comfortable and traditional in decor giving a cosy atmosphere. The bathrooms are also simple yet functional. Many rooms also come with a balcony.
The lobby is small in size.
The hotel comprises of two separate buildings that are traditional in exterior. The windows have flower boxes and the paint work is light yellow.
The restaurant is very traditional in setting and serves regional and international cuisine. There is a lot of dark wooden decor. There is also an outside terrace area where during the summer months you will find a weekly barbeque evening and also a traditional cosy corner during the winter. There is also a music cellar where live entertainment and traditional music is often on the menu.
Unique to the hotel they also have their own butchery and pastry shop for homemade freshness.
Location
The hotel is located in the Hamersbach valley in the heart of the Black Forrest. The village of Oberharmersbach can be found to the east of Lahr, the south east of Offenburg and south west of Freudenstadt along the L94 road.
