The main railway station is 15 minutes ride by tram from the establishment and the premises are also well situated for taking the 2 major motorways that pass close by. Many naturalists and ecologist come here to visit the Mittlere Elbe Biosphere Reserve, which is less than 30 min. away. A continental breakfast with a large selection of healthy options is served at the hotel in the tastefully redecorated breakfast room that was completely renovated in 2011, and several very good restaurants can be found within easy walking distance of the premises (10 minutes).
