A good choice for all travellers wishing to visit Rothenburg.
The bedrooms are comfortable and homely and due to the age of the hotel, vary in shape, size and furnishings, though on average they are small and in good condition, as are the bathrooms. Their style is not particularly grand, but perfectly acceptable for this class of property.
The two restaurants are quite different, one is more modern, bright and airy and the other is of a more franconian style, with wooden beams and more traditional furniture. There is also a bar which has an open fire, brickwork walls, wooden ceiling and heavy wooden furniture, thus creating a more relaxing and cosy atmosphere.
The lobby is small but attractively decorated to reflect the local franconian style and charm, with carved wooden furnishings and beamed ceilings.

This hotel is located opposite the train station, which is outside the old city walls within easy walking distance of the centre.(5 mins).
