This rural resort is set on the Livadi Plateau, in the heart of the Psiloritis mountain range and is one of only a handful of geopark accommodations in Europe that are protected by the Natura 2000 programme. The charming villas are made from stone and wood supplied exclusively from renewable energy resources. Surrounded by a mountainous terrain spotted with apple, pear and walnut trees, it features a swimming pool, and offers a variety of activities for the restless vacationers – such as ceramics classes, mountain bike riding or classes in traditional Cretan cooking. In the evening, guests can dine at the quaint restaurant, relax with a book by the fireplace, or engage is interesting conversations with their fellow travellers in the common room.
