The restaurant at this hotel is particularly well known locally, serving delicious Icelandic specialities made with fresh, locally produced ingredients. It is also notable for the fabulous views its huge curved windows command up towards the mountains.

This hotel is located in a small village in one of Iceland's most important agricultural areas where most of the country's vegetables are organically grown. The south west's best known sights such as Thingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss are all within easy striking distance.
