General Info

First among the guests on the hotels re-opening were New Zealanders travelling to the capital for business or pleasure - conferences, family, weekend excursions, and shopping. Many of these guests continue to return to the Cambridge, recognizing that location and value for money are the first important considerations for any traveler. The elegant renovations with great service and cleanliness combine to bring guests back again and again. With 25 overnight rooms the hotel is a more personal Kiwi experience, and the bistro and bar are host to a colourful mix of travellers and Wellingtonians, who prefer the familiarity and comfortable surroundings of a traditional bar environment as opposed to the huge variety and excitement of Courtenay Place bars and clubs, to be found right on the hotels doorstep. There are a variety of ensuite rooms, and all provide Sky TV, fridge, tea/coffee-making facilities, and telephone/internet access. The hotel reception is open 24 hours so you may check in any time that suits you. If you are a night owl there is plenty to see in town and your room card will give you 24-hour access to the hotel. As a hotel we do not offer service to the rooms, or stock mini-bars but we do have a sports bar with bistro dining that currently provides lunch and evening meals as well as cooked breakfasts from 7.30am to 10.30am Monday to Saturday and 10am onwards Sundays. If you prefer to prepare your own meals we have a shared kitchen with electric hobs, microwaves and storage areas.
