This is a very good hotel in a peaceful and extremely picturesque location.
All rooms on the hotel are large and in very good condition with the emphasis being on light and space. The bathrooms are also in good condition.
The restaurant is lightly-coloured, with pale blue set against the pine tables and chairs. The design is modern, with blue and floral patterns again dominant.
The lobby is centred around a fireplace and is filled with local handicrafts, leading through to a spacious bar which is decorated with oak wood panelling and green floral furnishings.
Location
The hotel is set in a spectacular location at the gateway to Hardangervidda, described as 'the roof of Norway'. During winter, the hotel faces a snow-covered frozen landscape which in summer becomes a tree-lined lake. It is situated 10 minutes' drive from Geilo.
