This hotel was opened in 1962 and is located in the fortress of Valenca overlooking the Tuy-Valenca border and is in a perfect location for visitors entering and leaving the country. The area is a popular holiday destination in summer with 2 spas (melgaco and moncao) nearby. A good trip to make is to follow the river Minho, which the Pousada overlooks.
