Muiño de Pena is one of the most impressive rural houses in the beautiful Galician countryside. Guests can treat themselves to a special night near the end of the pilgrimage or simply soak up some Galician culture in a beautiful natural spot on the banks of the river Mera and only 6 km away from Santiago Airport. Transport from the pilgrimage or airport is complimentary for all our clients with prior arrangement. This 200 year-old windmill provides an opportunity to travel from the past. At the on-site history museum guests will be able to contemplate the array of craftwork and antique samples from the areas most traditional professions. Nowadays, the mill continues to work powered by a turbine combined with solar panels, making a significant contribution to ecological tourism. Guests will also be able to taste traditional cuisine with a modern touch, elaborated with quality products.
