The hotel is located in the heart of the "Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas" nature reserve, in the small town of Saucejo. It is 25 km from the town of Cazorla and just an hour by car from the cities of Ubeda and Baeza, both of which are recognised as World Heritage Sites. The elevated position of the hotel offers unsurpassable panoramic views of the surrounding hillsides, which are covered with native pine trees. The atmosphere of tranquillity and the beautiful enclaves such as the "Cañada de las Fuentes", or the "Salto de Linarejos", make it a meeting point for lovers of nature. The river can be found about 8 km away and Parque Cinegetico is about an hour away by car. Arroyo Frio, with its range of bars and nightlife, is about a 20-minute drive away. The nearest links to public transport and the bus station can be found in Cazorla, and the nearest train station is in Lineares-Baeza some 80 km away. The Sierra ski slopes are about 200 km away and Pantano Lake is about an hours drive away. The Guadalquivir River Information Centre is about a 90-minute drive away, while the Torre del Vinagre and the Borosa River Information Centre are both just 30 minutes away.The hotel, which was renovated in 2006, offers a total of 34 rooms spread over 3 floors. The building revives the tradition of the typical Andalusian country house, and indeed this is the distinguishing feature of the exterior. The interior features a pleasant living room with a chimney, and is characterized by the natural daylight which pours in through the large windows. It comprises a lobby with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, currency exchange facility and lift access. A café, bar, restaurant and TV room all feature, as do room and laundry services.
