This is an excellent hotel for groups, half way between Lucern and Interlaken.
The medium sized bedrooms are modern in style, and decorated in neutral shades. They are in very good condition, as are the bathrooms. Most enjoy breathtaking views down the valley, the floor of which is sometimes atmospherically swathed in mist.
The main restaurant is just off the lobby and is decorated in typical Swiss country style with heavy beams and solid wooden furniture.
The small lobby is very traditional in style with its low ceilings and wooden beams, but it does incorporate a compact lounge area and leads to the other public areas.
Location
This hotel is situated approximately equidistant from the towns of Lucerne and Interlaken, amidst magnificent countryside overlooking the Lungern and Sarnen lakes.
