The hotel nestles under the five summits of Ben Loyal and is surrounded by lush green vegetation influenced by the gulf stream. This 3 crown hotel was originally built in 1880 as a hunting lodge and, despite the numerous refurbishments taken place, still retains much of its Victorian style and charm. The Tongue Hotel has nineteen rooms, all with their own bathrooms. Many have panoramic views of the Kyle, Castle Varrich or the mountains. Ideally located on the far north coast of Scotland, the town is close enough to many attractions that you can explore daily. Or, relax in the hotel, sampling malt whiskys in front of open fires and enjoy local produce for dinner in the dining room. Please note that currently the restaurant is closed for lunches and evening Meals.
