Opened in 1928, this lodge is a must stop for travellers when en-route through South Dakota s Badlands. Without the distractions of phones or televisions, each historic cabin is furnished with heater /air-conditioning, a coffee pot and a bath. The lodge features an in-house restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Set amid the prairie at the base of Badland pinnacles, the lodge is located on the east side of Highway 377, just past the Ben Reifel park visitor centre in south-western South Dakota. Some popular area attractions include Black Hills and Rapid City.
