The lodge is located just 21 km from the Grand Canyon Park entrance. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is visited by only 10% of all Grand Canyon visitors. Built in the 1920s by architect Gilbert Stanley Underwood, the lodge offers peace and comfort to visitors. Its rustic construction of limestone walls and timbered ceilings complement the lush beauty. A spacious, informal place to unwind, the lodge has both motel rooms and cabins to accommodate guests and a magnificent dining room, which offers fine dining with a western flair and a view of the canyon. Guests may also relax with a drink from the bar. The hotel provides convenient rooms. E ach non-smoking room provides a flat-screen TV, free toiletries and an en suite bathroom. Tea and coffee-making facilities are also provided.
