The hotel has a very attractive swimming pool forming the focal point of the courtyard with sun loungers and tables and chairs for guests to relax in. There is secure off street parking available to guests too. A wonderful 4* hotel and a great place to relax in whilst exploring the wide variety of attractions in and around Franschoek. All 30 rooms are en suite and tastefully decorated with carpeted floors, light coloured bed spreads and curtains and have framed art work on display. The beds are a good size and there is a writing desk and chair for guests as well as a mini bar, satellite TV and air conditioning.There is room service available from 07 00 - 21 30 daily. The lobby is very elegantly designed with a wide staircase at its centre flanked by two Roman pillars. There is an antique table as you enter with fresh flowers on display and the dark wood reception desk to your left. The reception desk is open 24 hours and there is also WiFi in the public areas. Part of the hotel building dates back to the 1880 s and the building is square shaped creating a lovely courtyard which hosts the outdoor swimming pool. The building is just two storeys tall and has open air walkways linking the rooms. The cosy restaurant offers an elegant dining atmosphere and a superb blend of classical and contemporary cuisine.
