The Kounokura always welcomes guests with comfort and relaxing time. We serve gorgeous and selected Japanese cuisine. This ryokan is a spa-resort hotel complete with public hot springs, tennis courts, indoor-pools, and so on. The ryokan's baths are open 24 hours a day. From the outdoor hot spring baths, guests can see the surrounding mountains. The indoor-swimming pools are for adults and children, and saunas and Jacuzzis are also provided. The rooms are Japanese style rooms only with no beds. By day, the rooms are furnished with a low table and zabuton floor cushions on Japanese straw tatami mats. There is also a sitting area with two armchairs and a coffee table. By night, the room is transformed with Japanese futons into a sleeping area. Each room at the ryokan has its own private bath and toilet. Marbled throughout with artistic ornaments in the middle of the entrance hall. A bright and large chandelier is suspended from the ceiling. Medium in size, any guest will appreciate the calm and deluxe atmosphere.
