This hotel is a great choice for those wishing to explore the countryside and history of North Zealand. It provides spacious rooms and a friendly atmosphere which is well suited for families and groups. However, being that it is only 35km from Copenhagen it also offers the perfect base for a city come nature break. Standard rooms are characterised by quality and functionality, and include complimentary tea and coffee facilities. All are decorated in pastel colours and feature light wood furniture reminiscent of the eighties. 62 of the rooms have a small kitchen and private terrace. The en-suite bathrooms are simple and spacious complimenting the rooms. Breakfast is served on the ground floor in a room beside the reception. The outer wall is constructed entirely out of glass which enhances the high ceiling feature of the room. This combined with the yellow colour in the restaurant allows light to flood into the space throughout the day. A second, "al la carte" restaurant opened in 2006 in the lower ground floor of a newly built annex which adjoins the old building to the rear. It serves international cuisine in a contemporary and stylish environment. The lobby area is medium in size. It houses a large reception desk offering literature on the local area and some pockets of seating.
