The Generator hostel is a fantastic place to stay for anybody wishing to explore Berlin, located in an up and coming district in former East Berlin and less then 10 minutes by tram to Alexanderplatz. Although the rooms without facilities do not have a shower or toilet amenities are situated on the same floor and are maintained to a high standard. The Generator bar is the ideal place to relax at the end of a long day of sightseeing or having a few drinks before a night out on the town. This youth hostel lies in the middle of the charming Berlin district of Prenzlauer Berg, right on Schonhauser Allee and around 500 m away from the same named train station.
