This rural resort is set on the Livadi Plateau, in the heart of the Psiloritis mountain range and is one of only a handful of geopark accommodations in Europe that are protected by the Natura 2000 programme. The charming villas are made from stone and wood supplied exclusively from renewable energy resources. Surrounded by a mountainous terrain spotted with apple, pear and walnut trees, it features a swimming pool, and offers a variety of activities for the restless vacationers – such as ceramics classes, mountain bike riding or classes in traditional Cretan cooking. In the evening, guests can dine at the quaint restaurant, relax with a book by the fireplace, or engage is interesting conversations with their fellow travellers in the common room.

This was a project that began years ago with the aim of recreating a Cretan village where visitors would enjoy experiences ranging from Cretan dance classes to a traditional Cretan wedding. There is a folklore museum and arts and crafts workshops operating upon request such as ironmongers, loom, wood oven, and traditional Cretan dances. The rooms are of a traditional style with white washed walls and dark wood. All rooms come with balcony, direct dial telephone and air conditioning. Some of the rooms have a fireplace. The furnishing is in a quite basic rustic style. There is a main restaurant which offers Greek dishes cooked with all due respect to tradition and original ingredients. There is a medium sized reception area where clients are welcomed.
