At a 100 metres above sea level, he farm is surrounded by typical vegetation, such as olives, oleanders, eucalyptus, pines, and prickly pear cactus, making is an ideal place to spend relaxing days in a family environment. The farm covers an area of about 3 hectares and the various buildings have been refurbished and enlarged, while still maintaining their traditional rural architecture, to contain small apartments with or without kitchenette and with double bedrooms able to accommodate 4-5 people. All units are furnished simply and in harmony with the environment and have private bathrooms, air-conditioning, fridge, hair dryer and Tv outlet. Outside, guests may enjoy a communal green space equipped with tables and chairs. The owners, Mario and Silvana, offer a breakfast-brunch buffet, based on traditional and wholesome country flavours and enriched by the hostess's creativity, on the veranda from which there is a restful view of the swimming pool bordered by palm trees and other Mediterranean vegetation. The “Specolizzi” holiday farm is managed with cordiality and warmth by the owners whose aim is to offer their guests a comfortable and relaxing stay. Various types of activities are organized: recreational, with excursions by boat, to folkloristic festivals or theatrical productions in the area; gastronomic, with tastings of typical products at nearby characteristic restaurants; cultural, with guided visits to historic towns and villages in the hinterland and workshops producing terracotta, papier maché, ‘leccese' stone, wicker.
