Various types of activities are organized: recreational, with excursions by boat, to folkloristic festivals or theatrical productions in the area; gastronomic, with tastings of typical products at nearby characteristic restaurants; cultural, with guided visits to historic towns and villages in the hinterland and workshops producing terracotta, papier maché, ‘leccese' stone, wicker.
