During reconstruction work, the central facade retained its original appearance whilst the interiors were completely adapted to suit guests needs. Merchants Street is one of the most important streets in Riga and records mentioning it date back to as early as the 13th century. Initial documented information about buildings along this street were found from the 14th century when German merchants constructed homes here, near Dome Square. Over time, many constructions have been built here, the most important of the 18th century taking place during the 70s and 80s. The style of the houses was changed significantly, meaning that instead of Renaissance elements, the facade gained more classical features. A good 4 star hotel in keeping with the Ramada chain known for it's outstanding hospitality for many years. Suitable for all guests, leisure and business. An excellent base to explore Riga. All rooms are comfortable and spacious with views of either the street or inner courtyard. All rooms have internet access available at a charge to the hotel. There are two restaurants, the Vintage restaurant offers an a la carte menu and boasts of the best selection of wine in town. The table buffet menu restaurant is a great venue for a short break from a busy day. A medium sized lobby offering a warm welcome to all guests.
