This delightful historical hotel is the perfect place to stay for those who want not only to visit Krakow, but to truly experience it, by staying in the city's heart in one of the city's oldest and grandest hotels. Highly recommended. The rooms are in exceptional condition. They are decorated in classical style in keeping with the rest of this historic property, but enjoy up to date facilities as the building was only restored to its present state quite recently. Most of the rooms are medium sized, though some are large. Those on the top floors can be a little smaller, but the compensation for this is their cosy sloping ceilings, beautiful views out over the surrounding rooftops of old Krakow and the fact that they are quieter. The restaurant is located just off the lobby under a huge glass roof in what was once the building's back yard. It is a charming and stylish bistro, serving a fine buffet breakfast and snacks, drinks and meals all day. The lobby is small, but elegant with a very high ceiling and gleaming polished wood reception desk. There is plentiful seating next door in the restaurant.
