Casa das Senhoras Rainhas is a small charming hotel located in the ancient village of Obidos. Established in July 2002 with the special recognition of IPPAR (Portuguese Institute of Architecture Patrimony), it results from the remarkable rebuilding of a very typical house with a privileged location inside the village castle walls. It has 9 double rooms on the house’s patio (most of them with private terrace) and 1 double room in the house’s tower. All rooms offer a close view of the castle wall and are equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, cable TV and safe. This unit includes the Cozinha das Rainhas Restaurant with a charming atmosphere and a cuisine based on typical Portuguese gastronomy, which receives a careful selection of world wide influences, all combined in a creative and refined fashion, the Honesty Bar, terrace and a pleasant fireplace room. As a welcome gesture, a cake and a cherry brandy from Óbidos are offered to all the guests.
