Grampian House is a small, friendly, privately-owned guest house offering quality en-suite B&B accommodation. Situated in the quiet North Shore area of Blackpool just 50 metres from the Promenade and close to the Train and Bus stations. The North Pier, Blackpool Tower and the Town Centre, with its Theatres, Restaurants, Pubs and Clubs, are all within a ten-minute walk. This is a classic Seaside hotel benefitting from a good location enabling you to fully explore attractions within Blackpool. This is competitively priced and fairly simple accommodation within a beauty sea facing Victorian building - it is ideal for families. There is also a Games room with snooker table. Limited car parking available too. (GW 12/2009) The 209 en-suite bedrooms vary in size, are fairly simple but all tastefully decorated with modern facilities including TV, Hairdryer and Tea and Coffee Making facilities. A lot of rooms have sea views. A very pretty Victorian facade and interior to match. There are several bars and restaurants for guests to relax and enjoy. The Promenade Restaurant is open to non premier guests and serves dishes from the 3 course set evening menu. Breakfast is served here too. The Worall Restaurant is available to Premier Guests and has wonderful sea views. The Coastal Cafe Bar has fantastic sea front views and patio seating which looks out towards the North Pier and the Famous Blackpool Tower, where you sit out on the patio. It serves hot and cold light meals throughout the day.
This is an ideal hotel to sample the attractions of Blackpool from a central location. The hotel has a large indoor pool and a children's playroom in operation during the summer months, making it extremely suitable for families. All rooms are quite large in size and are decorated in nice neutral shades. The majority of the 274 rooms have sea views. Triple rooms are made up of double / twin with sofa bed. There are playstations in all of the rooms. There are 3 restaurants to cater for every taste in the hotel. One serves an a la carte menu, another is a buffet and carvery and there is a cafe serving snacks and light meals. The reception area is large and brightly lit. There is a business centre with computer access in the lobby. Light snacks are served here throughout the day also.
