The Lampeter hotel has one of the best locations in Bournemouth. It is ideally situated in a quiet town centre cull de sac away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. The hotel backs onto the pleasure gardens with its picturesque flower beds and tree lined walks and is a short stroll from the town centre and many exclusive shops which characterise this elegant and stylish resort. The hotel is just 2-minutes from the Bournemouth International Centre and the seafront is an easy walk with no roads to cross giving access to the seven miles of award winning beaches for which Bournemouth is renowned. The hotel has a car park for the exclusive use of residents. The 35 bedrooms are arranged on 4 floors connected by a passenger lift. All rooms are en suite with bath and/or shower, colour television, free wireless internet, hospitality tray, direct dial telephone and central heating. At the Lampeter we pride ourselves on our cuisine. The breakfast buffet offers a selection of cereals, juices and fresh fruit, followed by a traditional full English breakfast. Bournemouth Airport is some 13 km away.The original building, dating back to the 1800s was known as The Laing's Hotel until the turn of the century, when another floor was added to make it into the centrepiece of the town square that it is today. It is now dedicated to Henry VII. With its high ceilings, large windows, sofas and comfortable armchairs, there is a light, elegant and airy feel at the property, reminiscent of a bygone era. There are lots of old photographs, some over one hundred years old, of the hotel and its development, as well as images of the old town, all adding to the ambience of this lovely building. Guests can enjoy free on-site car parking. The lift facility and wheelchair access make the property easily accessible for disabled guests. The hotel comprises a total of 27 en-suite bedrooms and is non-smoking throughout. Ingledene House is a quality rated Bed and Continental Breakfast that overlooks Knyveton Gardens bowling greens and the adjoining Tennis courts . Ingledene Guest House is conveniently situated 2 minutes walk from Bournemouth Central Station, 500 metres from the nearest beach and about a 10 minute walk to the centre and nightlife. Guest House facilities include 12 En-suite Bedrooms. Evening meals also provided on request if booked in advance between 1800-2100. Continental Breakfast Available in Guest House 8-10a.m. Full English Breakfast also available if booked night before. Licensed Reception/Bar located on ground floor to serve alcoholic drinks. Open from 1400-2200 Free Street Parking all the way along Derby Road, Frances Road and Spencer Road. Although no guest has ever had to use it, Ingledene House has reserved on and off-street parking.
