This elegant converted Georgian manor house is situated right next to the York Racecourse just outside of the city centre of York. The property dates from 1833, and though it has been refurbished, it still maintains many of its original period features. The hotel is near the old town of York, and many of the city's shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés can be reached within a 10-minute drive.The main building boasts cosy, unique rooms with private en suite bathrooms, while the annexing buildings offer modern, motel-style rooms with direct access to the gardens. For added convenience, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Guests can go for a swim in the indoor heated pool and enjoy splendid meals at the onsite restaurant, which also caters for parties, weddings, and business and social functions.
