Hillhead Farm Lets provide four luxury rooms which have been converted from a traditional Scottish farm steading in June 2010. The rooms have been finished to a very high standard and are set around a traditional Scottish cottage garden with panoramic views towards Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and the Field of Bannockburn. We are located in the countryside close to the historical town of Bannockburn, within walking distance of the Bannockburn Battlefield site where Robert the Bruce defeated the English armies in 1314. The youth hostel is located just 10 minutes walk away from Stirling city centre on Stirlings Causewayhead Road (A9). Also 10 minutes away on foot are restaurants, bars, pubs, nightclubs, shops and a bus stop. Located next to the historic Stirling Bridge, the scene of one of William Wallaces greatest victories, the youth hostel is on the main bus route between Stirling and the University of Stirlings beautiful parkland campus, 3.7 km away. The River Forth is only about 100 m away. Stirling Castle is about a 10-minute and Wallace Monument about a 15-minute walk away. The beach and coast of Aberdour can be reached in around 50 minutes drive, as can the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Edinburgh is about 68 km away, while the ski region of Glenshee Braemar is roughly 120 km away.The youth hostel has 287 rooms in total. Car parking is also available on site.The youth hostel offers great value single standard and single en suite bedrooms. The rooms are located within apartments which sleep up to 7 persons. Each apartment offers a kitchen, fridge, cooker and microwave. In the case of standard rooms, the apartments also feature shared shower facilities whereas the en suite rooms feature their own shower. All rooms feature individually regulated heating.A golf course is located approximately 2 km away.

Hotel offers good value accommodation, with an excellent location to explore not only the nearby Stirling Castle and tourist attractions, but close enough to visit Glasgow and Edinburgh as well. The 52 en-suite bedrooms have recently been refurbished and are equipped with all the necessary modern amenities. The rooms are of a fair condition and decorated in a neutral style.
