How can I book my plane ticket online?
The process is simple and is completed in just 3 clicks. Enter your trip information (departure airport, destination, travel dates, number of passengers) to the ticket search engine and click on the search button. You will then be redirected to the results page, with the available flights and their prices. For your convenience and time saving all flights are grouped by price, so you can choose any flight you want and combine it with any return flight from those found in the same price block (provided that you have selected a round trip). Once you have selected the flights you want, click on the Book Now button. You have reached the step where you have to enter the passengers' data, contact and payment information. Once you have completed the registration and accepted the cancellation policy and terms of use of Airshop, click on the Payment button. If the payment method chosen is not by Credit/ Debit Card, but via bank transfer or cash payment, the button you will need to click will be named "Booking Complete" instead of "Payment". You have now completed the process which is followed by the confirmation page.
-
What is the +/- 3 days search?
By choosing the +/- 3 days search, you will be presented with a 7x7 table, which wil show the cheapest flight option for a time range of three days before to three days after the dates you have selected, including options that correspond to your desired departure and return dates. In this case, only the cheapest flight for each day is shown. If you wish to display more flight results for each day, you should click on the Exact Dates tab.
-
What is the multiple destinations search?
It is possible to combine more than one destination for your trip with a single search. There are cases in which you will have to visit more than one city in the same trip and it is unreasonable to return at the destination airport to take the return flight.
We give you some examples to understand what you can buy with a single search.
First Example:- 1st Departure September 20th Athens - Heraklion
- 2nd Departure September 25th Chania - Athens
Second Example:- 1st Departure October 10th Larnaca - Athens
- 2nd Departure October 12th Athens - Thessaloniki
- 3rd Departure October 15th Thessaloniki - Rhodes
- 4th Departure October 20th Rhodes - Athens
- 5th Departure October 22nd Athens - Larnaca
*The maximum number of destinations and dates you can enter into simultaneous flight search is six.
-
What does the rating displayed on flights mean?
In Airshop we believe that, although price is a very important factor it is not always the most decisive one when it comes to making the decision for your final choice. For this reason we created the Best Finder Plus technology, a special algorithm that calculates the relation of the price with factors such as the total trip duration, the intermediate stops or the flight time, and ranks them on a scale from 0 (not good) to 10 (good). The needs and the desires and particularities of each individual are complex and therefore the final decision on the selection of flight is always yours to make and completely independent from the rating that appears.
-
What are the timetables that are being displayed?
The departure and arrival timetables shown are local and depend on the country you are departing from and the country that you land in. If it is mentioned that you are departing from Frankfurt at 15.55 and you arrive in London at 16.20, the departure time is the German local time and the arrival time the British local one. Considering that the two countries have an hour’s time difference, the actual flight duration is 1 hour and 25 minutes. The actual flight duration is mentioned on each route, so you do not need to do the calculations. Just go to the airport in time for your departure.
-
In what way are the prices displayed in the search results?
The prices displayed in search results are the total for all the passengers who have been entered in the search engine. If you have entered 2 adults and 1 child the displayed value is for three passengers. If you wish to see in detail how much it is for each passenger separately you can click on the "+" next to the field Price Details.
-
I have selected a flight but I cannot proceed to the next step. I receive a message that the price has changed and the system gives me a new price.
There are three possible reasons for the display of this message.
- The last seats available in this price may have been booked while you were looking for the available options and before you clicked on the Book Now button.
- You may have already reserved the seat while switching from the result page to the payment page and vise versa and you are trying to book the same seat again. You should wait for at least 10 minutes, make a new search and then move on with the purchase process.
- The third case has to do with the synchronization between our system and the airline’s one. The seat is no longer available but the system has not been updated yet. In that case you should choose a new price from those provided and proceed with your ticket purchase.
-
How should I write my personal information?
The passengers' personal data have to be written using LATIN characters in the exact same way they are diplayed in the travel documents that you will use. In any case, should you realize that you have registered your data incorrectly, you will have to contact our call center immediately (8011 111222).
-
How will I know that my booking is succesfully completed?
After the payment you will be automatically redirected to the confirmation page, where you should see this message: "Thank you, your booking has been successfully completed". -
I have not received a confirmation e-mail. What should I do?

-
How will I receive my ticket?
After completing your booking, the electronic ticket (e-ticket) will be automatically sent to the email address you provided. All tickets are now in electronic form (e-ticket) and are not issued in paper format. Your ticket details are securely stored in the airline's database with which you are traveling. Printing the ticket is not mandatory, but it is recommended that you have your e-ticket number and booking reference noted. This will facilitate your service when you arrive at the airport.
-
When I book with a Low Cost Carrier do I receive a ticket?
No, Low Cost Carriers do not provide you with a ticket. The confirmation e-mail that we send you has the carrier's booking number, which is the only thing you need for your booking confirmation. In most cases, however, low cost carriers demand you having a printed boarding pass upon arrival at the airport. We do that for you with no further cost and we can send it to you from 7 days to 24 hours before your departure. The sending time depends on the regulations of each carrier accordingly. You will only have to print your boarding pass and bring it along, otherwise additional costs emerge should the carrier print it for you at the airport.
-
Are there carriers that require Online check-in before arriving at the airport?
Yes, there are carriers that require online check-in and printed boarding pass before your arrival at the airport. Some low cost carriers request that procedure, such as Ryanair, Easyjet, Volotea, Tui Fly, Thomson, Wizz Air etc. Therefore, when you book your ticket we make sure to inform you for procedures like these at the confirmation page and the confirmation e-mail. When the online check-in becomes available we do it for you and then we send you the boarding passes, which you have to print and have with you, by e-mail. In case you have not received your boarding pass at least 20 hours before your departure you will have to contact us. If you arrive at the airport without your boarding pass your carrier can reprint it for you, but there will be extra charges from your carrier.

You can always do the online check-in through your carrier's website, you will only need the ticket's number or the booking number, which have been sent at your e-mail after the completion of your booking. However, the check-in procedure can be completed at your carrier's counter at the airport without any further cost.
-
Why was I asked to register passport or identity information?
When an online check-in has to be made in order to receive your boarding pass, the carriers demand these information. Moreover, when it comes to transatlantic flights, carriers need that kind of information in order to give permission for the ticket issue.
-
How long before my departure should I be at the airport?
For flights inside the European Union you will have to arrive at the airport 1.5 hours prior to flight departure. For transatlantic flights you will have to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to flight departure. In case that you have done an online check-in, on your boarding pass you will see the time that the gate closes. Be careful, baggage dropp off, security check and cabin baggage check have to be done by the time the gate is closing and you have to be outside your departure gate.

Until what age is a passenger considered to be a child, an infant or an adult by the carrier?
Babies are considered as infants between the age of 2-24 months (the baby must have completed his 24 months) and as children between the age of 2-11 years old. Everyone above the age of 11 is considered to be an adult. You have to keep in mind that ages are calculated based on your flight date and not on the day you booked the ticket. So, if the passenger is 22 months old when the ticket is booked, but the trip is booked for 3 months later, the passenger is considered as an adult since on the flight date he will be 25 months old. The same applies also for the children's age.
-

-
What documents do kids and infants need in order to travel?
Kids and infants need their own personal travel documents (passport, visa or identity) just like adults. Only in cases of domestic flights are the passengers allowed to provide a health insurance card or a birth certificate with a photo as a means of identification.
-
I am 16 years old, can I travel alone?
With low cost carriers a passenger who is not 16 can not travel alone. The rest carriers allow this kind of travelling but the use of the service for unaccompanied kids is necessary for the ages of 5-11 and optional for the ages of 12-16. If you are over 16 years old, you can travel as an adult.

If the pre-approval of your card is successful, but the purchase can not be completed, we automatically send a request at your bank asking the cancellation of the pre-approval.
