The hotel is a great 4 star old colonial hotel. It is built overlooking the river and has housed many visiting notables, including US President Herbert Hoover. Although expanded in 1924 and 1987, this hotel is still a place for people who like history. The attractive old building is still an impressive sight, so are the English plaques on the walls and the stunning lobby mural. Most of the rooms are medium in size while some are small. They are modern in style and kept in very good condition. All rooms are decorated in warm color and equipped with modern facilities and private bathrooms. The hotel features a restaurant serving Chinese and International cuisines. The 2-story lobby is medium in size, beautifully decorated in modern style with marbled floor.
