The resort hotel is located near cape Shiono, the southernmost tip of the mainland of Japan, where is famous for its landscapes and whale watching points, and also it is the southern part of "Kumano-Kodo" (pilgrimage road to the 3 grand shrines of Kumano), where is one of the world heritages in Japan. It takes 3 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot from Kushimoto Station on JR Kisei Main Line running from Tennoji, Osaka within 160 minutes by rapid train. Shingu City, one of the gateway cities to Kumano Kodo, is 65 minutes by train, or Nachi is 46 minutes by train. The famous Nachi Fall is 60 minutes drive. Nanki Shirahama Airport (domestic) is 65 km from the hotel.
