The ryokan is surrounded by mountains and the famous Hell Valley where the natural beauty of the scenery changes season by season . One outstanding feature of this ryokan is the giant natural hot spring bath that measuring 5,000 square meters. The ryokan has a special building consisting of a variety of hot springs, including a sauna and a mist sauna, and indoor swimming pool. (09/08 YT) All rooms are spacious and decorated in the typical Japanese style with tatami mat flooring and shoji sliding paper doors, furnished with other traditional Japanese touches. The lobby is large in size, and there is a souvenir shop that sells original products of this ryokan and also typical foods and products of the Hokkaido area. This ryokan has 6 modern interconnecting buildings, and is quite large. There is a range of Japanese noodle restaurants and a few bars. Guests can also find a choice of restaurants offering all kinds of Japanese food, some Chinese and Western.
The ryokan is located in Hokkaido, on the northern Island of Japan, between Sapporo City (Capital City in Hokkaido) and Hakodate City.
