This is a no-nonsense hotel, ideal for a stopover between Oslo and Bergen or as a base for exploring this beautiful region.
The rooms vary considerably in style and size. The smallest rooms are still medium sized however, whilst some of them are very large. Some of the oldest rooms are only in fair condition with rather outdated decor, but most are modern and in good condition. The bathrooms likewise vary between simple and functional and smart and modern. All the rooms are, however, clean and comfortable.
The restaurant is huge and can cater for enormous groups or parties. It is decorated in grand style and there is an extensive buffet served nightly.
The lobby is large with plenty of comfortable seating, though the veritable zoo of stuffed animals might not be to everyone's taste!
