The Parador is located in the Velazquez de Molina square, in the old quarter of the town next to the sacred chapel of El Salvador, The Marques de Mancera palace and Vaquez Molina palace. The most attractive feature of the rooms is their high ceilings. They are decorated in wood and tiled floors giving a comforting and cosy atmosphere. The six bedrooms facing the square, where the hotel is located and the one facing the cathedral deserve a special mention. This hotel has quite a bright restaurant, where one can find typical international dishes. Guests should sample the local dishes such as fried black pudding and partridge salad. For dessert there is a varied range of cakes or "nun's sighs" similar to custard with a type of sponge. Large in size, clasical decorated following the Parador style.

The hotel takes its name from one of the most important personalities of the city (Condestable Davalos ) located in a magnificent Palace constructed in the 16th and 17th centuries. It stands in the most attractive part of town, among many renaissance monuments.
