From the parador one can visit the capital of the province, Vitoria, which has many gothic monuments to be seen and Logro o with its famous Baroque cathedral.
Its magnificent 53 bedrooms are adorned and enchanted by the charm of its wood, a noble material which is also present in its unequalled dining room.
Large room which can accommodate 250 people. Typical dishes of the region are los caracoles (snails) and when they are in season, los perros chicos (a type of mushroom). Tasty cheeses from the mountainside be enjoyed along with worldwide known Rioja wines.
Renaissance ornaments preserve the nobility of this parador with beamed ceilings, stoned walls and ancient wooden furniture.
