A pleasant hotel with good service and facilities. The medium sized rooms, all with en-suite Bathrooms are nicely decorated and furnished and appear to be in good condition. The comfortable looking restaurant is nicely decorated and has pictures with detailed scenes from the Battle of Waterloo on the walls. It is appropriately named the Wellington restaurant. The lobby is welcoming with a small seating area where guests can enjoy a cup of tea or a read of the papers.
The hotel is situated in the pretty Berkshire village of Crowthorne and as such is ideally situated for exploring the lush Berkshire countryside and the historic Thames-side villages. London is just thirty-five miles away.
