Built next to the 17th century inn on the banks of the Teign estuary, this accommodation offers a modern, comfortable atmosphere whether staying for business or pleasure. There has been a hostelry on the site since Roman times. It was the site of a tidal ford and travellers would arrive and wait to cross the river. The hostelry became known as the passage way across the river, and this is still reflected in its current name.
