Takayama has a charming, isolated mountain location, which has contributed to the survival of many unspoiled Edo period streets lined with tiny shops, museums, and eating places. The hotel is large and split into the Temryokaku Main Wing and the Temryokaku Wing. All the rooms are simply decorated in a western style and are comfortable with two single beds differing slightly in width between the two wings.
