This unpretentious 3star comes highly recommended for its food and relaxed personal atmosphere. The rooms are medium sized with a simple rustic appearance. wooden floors and solid, chunky furniture make for a comfortable, if not luxurious stay. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition. The restaurant is well known as the managers of this hotel are kitchen specialists. The high quality freshly produced food is served in a simply styled, but light and airy dining room. The lobby area is small, but is open plan to a large and comfortable seating area.

Works of the famous Norwegian artist Nils Bergslien can be found in the hotels own art gallery which has proved extremely popular with guests. Overall this is a quite charming property with a stunning location. All rooms are in exceptional condition and are large in size. All are fully equipped and are amongst the best rooms in the region with warm colour schemes and smart pal wood furniture. About half the rooms enjoy views directly over the water, whilst the rest are at the back of the property looking up towards the mountains. The restaurant is located on the ground floor with huge windows the length of one side overlooking the fjord. Medium in size, welcoming and comfortable.
