The wooden floor in the bedroomsans elsewhere offers ellegence and confort. The cuisine typical of the town has its own specialities such as; trucha con unto (a trout dish), el botillo del Bierzo, el pulpo a barciana (an octopus dish) and chanfaina barciana (a stew-like meal).
