This family run hotel may not be the most central in Grindelwald, but for the lover of the alpine countryside this is an advantage. The atmosphere is very friendly and the quality of the hotel rooms and public areas one of the highest in the area. This hotel comes highly recommended for groups and individuals. The rooms vary a lot in size from small to large. They are decorated in traditional Swiss rustic style and are in very good condition due to an excellent maintenance programme. The bathrooms, which are simple, clean and modern in style are also in very good condition. The hotel is comprised of 1 main building and several apartment buildings all within 2 minutes walking distance. The restaurant is located on the ground floor and is in beautiful Swiss rustic style with carved wooden furniture and tasteful decoration. The lobby is medium sized and traditionally decorated with lots of rustic carved woodwork and comfortable solid furniture.
