A quaint and homely place to stay in a medieval market town. The rooms are excellent but it would only appeal to certain guests used to this style of accommodation. Perfect for groups looking for a traditional style of accommodation in a small village environment. Good alternative to Chester - and ideally located for leisure travellers looking to explore the beautiful Welsh countryside. The rooms are small, but in excellent condition. All are brand new and en-suite, with the bathrooms also being in excellent condition. They are traditionally furnished to provide a warmth and character. An award-winning restaurant serving excellent hotel food at modest prices in cosy surroundings. Dishes are created using fresh local produce and vary from Welsh to International. The restaurant is traditionally furnished. No real lobby as the hotel entrance is via the pub (which forms part of the hotel)

Beautifully located for leisure travellers looking to visit North Wales. Groups will like the relaxed environment and the easy access it provides to larger cities such as Chester. All of the 18 rooms vary in size, but are generally of a medium - large size. All are traditional in design some with floral furnishings, others with grander gold and royal blue decor. Due to the age of the building the rooms offer distinct character with many original features. The restaurant is adjacent to the reception and offered a capacity for up to 50 guests. Traditional in style, the restaurant offers an A La Carte menu created from the finest local produce. The lobby is small in size and of a traditional style.
