Great property for families with children, only a few steps away from the beach. Standard rooms offer garden or pool views, a balcony or patio with one king or two double beds and are equipped with an air conditioner, phone, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, satellite TV, mini-refrigerator, maid service, and radio. The restaurant is located on a spacious outdoor patio by the pool and offers a mix of local and international dishes; the bar offers popular drinks including an international wine list. The hotel has a good location with probably the best beach on the South coast. Very casual and friendly resort. Rooms are small to medium in size and are well appointed with private facilities and balcony. The decor is bright pastel colours in keep with the traditional Caribbean vibe. Studios are beautifully furnished each with its own private terrace and beachfront and oceanfront views. The hotel does not have its own restaurant however Coral mist which is the sister property, is joined onto Blue Orchid and allows guests to use their restaurant. The cuisine offered is local and International in a traditional Caribbean setting. Lobby is small, with a very bright white but airy decor. Scattered seating is available around the reception area with a comfortable atmosphere.

Guests have access to the complex terrace and facilities include a foyer, a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility and a lift in addition to a cafe, a newspaper stand, a selection of shops, a hairdressing salon, a casino, a games room, bar, lounge and a restaurant. There is also a conference room to make use of, Internet access, a kids club and car park and garage facilities for those arriving by car. The warm, welcoming service, outstanding accommodation and lush complex grounds with lagoons and cascading waterfalls add to the charming ambience of this tropical paradise.

In the new hotel wing with five floors, there are 28 rooms and studios with views of the island or sea, as well as 2 apartments with two bedrooms. The renovated and extended wing with four floors includes 48 studios with island views as well as 2 apartments with one bedroom. In the main building there are 14 renovated superior rooms. The beach terrace of the Happy Starfish restaurant, a new reception area and a gift shop, where guests are able to organise excursions and rental cars, also feature within this hotel.
