Reopened in summer 2013, Hotel Islazul Rex has been renovated to a high standard & would comfortably now be considered a boutique hotel, providing greater than expected luxury for downtown 3-star accommodation. The attractive rooftop terrace bar at Rex Hotel is a perfect place to relax & sip cocktails or enjoy light snacks, with great views of the city by day or night and the iconic Plaza de Marte only yards away. The restaurant is small but very well appointed, serving good quality food at a reasonable price. The high standards of the hotel are also reflected in its polite & helpful staff.
